Bird Feeder Challenge

 Room 1's challenge for Week 6 of Term 4 2021.

We have been learning about native, and endangered animals / birds for the last few weeks. This week we learned about how to look after the endangered and native animals / birds so they can still be here in the future. 

Our challenge for everyone is to make a 'bird feeder' as part of looking after the birds.

Kiwi Bird - Ezra

Kiwi birds are one of our native birds. Kiwi birds are nocturnal, they sleep during the day and go around at night looking for food. Kiwi birds can't fly because their wings are too tiny.

Online Animal Show - 2021

 On Wednesday the 3rd of November, Room 1 had an online animal show. Everyone had to bring an animal to our online learning and tell us about their animal. This was so fun and everyone loved it. Damian brought his dog, Maya and it was an awesome day!
