Having Fun with Ruma Rima

 Ruma Rima and Ruma Tahi had fun together on Friday afternoon in Room 1. Through their play they develp memory skills, build vocabulary, learn new skills and knowledge and learn how to get on with each other.

Measurement - Length

 We are learning to compare heights directly.

In this picture, students are learning to organise themselves from tallest to shortest and use words such as 'taller than', shorter than', shortest, and tallest to describe their heights. 

Make Lunch Time about Being Together

 We are learning to eat together so we can be all connected.

Eating together connects us with each other, and make us enjoy eating our food. 

Brain Break - Climbing a tree

 We consider tree climbing to be an important part of child development .... 

.... we can exercise our brains as well as our bodies.

Learn through Play - Nike

At first, Nike was just playing around .... 

then, he started counting - but not very well ...

then he decided to do it again, and it was perfect! Well done, Nike!

Classroom Norm - Again!

 After a week of lockdown - we learn our classroom norm again! Being active listeners!

Learn to put belongings away to avoid missing them. Sanitilala is putting away his jersey because he is not using it.
