School at home.

Behind every young child who believes in himself is a parent who believed first. (Barbara Johnson)

Thank you for the support!

I am learning to write my numbers to 20.

Great work done by Major with support and help from mum.

I am learning my new words by doing a 'word search'.

Home Education - Lockdown Life

I have been incredibly privileged to work with amazing parents like this parent. Malo 'aupito for your support and all parents of Room 1.

Tamina and mum are working together to complete this task. It is not easy to do things outside your comfort zone so therefore great 'pakipaki' to all parents for being there for your children.

First Time Home Learner

Damian started school at the beginning of this year with curiosity and enthusiasm not knowing that he is going to experience lockdowns and a home learning with mum.

However, Damian is still very happy to learn. He is adjusting really well and a big thank you to his mother for being supportive at home.

I know that there are a lot of mothers out there who are doing the same thing. Keep up the great work!

Wait time is crucial - children needs the chance to think about a response to the question being asked. Thank you to this lovely mother who is demonstrating the 'wait time' really well.

Home-Learning (Respect Environment)

 Respecting our environment - home!

Tekura-Atua is washing the dishes. She wants a clean environment at home. Tekura's mother is very proud.

Thank you, Tekura. Good job!

Home - Learning (Respect Self & Others & Learning)

We learned at school about respecting self, others and learning. Today I am showing that at home during this lockdown.

Well done, Bella!

My learning - my mother helped me to complete my work. I like working with mum.

I comforted my little sister when she cried. I love my little sister.

I helped my sister while mum is getting her milk bottle ready.
